Cuesta students have the colorful opportunity to experience their peer’s original works at the Annual Student Art Exhibition which began April 19.

The event showcases unique artwork by students that includes: photography, drawing, graphic design, ceramics and much more according to the art department.

“This year’s exhibition will no doubt be exceptional,” said Emma Saperstein, Cuesta’s art gallery coordinator. “This exhibition is a fantastic opportunity for students to gain recognition for their work and for the public to come out and experience what our fine arts department has to offer.”

An open reception and awards ceremony was held in the Harold J. Miossi Art Gallery on April 19.

The judging was conducted by Cal Poly Art Gallery Coordinator, Garet Zook.

The student pieces will be on view from April 19 through May 18 in room 7170, Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m to 4:00 p.m.
