With Spring Break on its way, Cuesta’s Associated Students of Cuesta College (ASCC) social club is on the right track to making sure our Cuesta Cougars make it back home safe.

The ASCC club throws an event every year right before spring break called “Sizzle Without The Burn.” This event promotes college students to have a cautious spring break, while still having fun.

Located in the student center courtyard and provided with prizes, food and games, ASCC invites local organizations to help promote the safety of others.

Some of these local organizations include, paddle boarding, traveling, kayaking, drug and alcohol treatment, ziplining, rock climbing, and backpacking.

By promoting Cuesta Cougars to go out and be active, instead of having alcohol consumption, ASCC hopes to give Cuesta students a fun, jam packed spring break.

“The event is meant to give students safety tips and things to consider to have a safe and enjoyable spring break,” said second year Cuesta cougar and ASCC activities director, Karina Medrano.
