One local resident to win two free years at Cuesta

Local residents have to opportunity to win two years tuition free at Cuesta. KSBY partnered with the Cuesta College foundation to give away a scholarship valued at $10,000.

All entries are due before April 30 at 5 p.m. Any San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara county resident 18 and over can enter. Those interested can visit the MacSuperstore at their San Luis Obispo or Santa Barbara location, or go to the  Paso Robles Golf Club. The ten finalists, which will be randomly chosen, will be posted on ksby.com on May 1. The winner will be announced May 7 at Farmers Market, the winner must be present to receive the award.

The scholarship’s value is at $10,000 and will be divided into $2,500 per fall and spring semester. The scholarship must be used for two consecutive years, and the winner has until the spring of 2020 to use it.

“This is truly an open opportunity for one lucky person,” said Shannon Hill, Cuesta’s Executive Director of Foundation/Advancement, in a press release.
